We have been around both southern and northern Sweden, across the border to Norway and sold our products in a total of 7 countries.

The Motel in Karlskrona
At Hotell Fridhem, we had help with design proposals for the hotel's four floors with rooms, corridors and breakfast room. Together with the hotel, we have decided what it should look like and delivered and installed coloring and interior decoration according to wishes (but not surface layer work, such as painting and replacing carpets).
This was a complete renovation of the hotel, including the bathrooms, which were carried out. The hotel also expanded their area in the building where existing apartments, offices and other spaces were converted into hotel rooms. Room number signs were also redesigned to fit the hotel's new graphic profile. The four floors have the same base but are decorated in different colors on the walls and details, where even the corridor carpet outside the rooms matches the theme per floor.

Away Solbacken, Skellefteå
This mobile barrack hotel called Away Solbacken can be found in Skellefteå. With a production of 1200 rooms, reception, function rooms (such as laundry, etc.) and social areas. These rooms are designed in a way that allows them to be easily taken apart and placed where they are needed for a shorter period of time.
We at PMI had the honor of supplying parts of the interior for these smart room modules. It was a fun and exciting project to take on and we thank you very much for the trust!

In 2021, we were honored to take on 116 hotel rooms at the Best Western Princess Hotel in Norrköping. After going through the rooms with the client, we came up with a list of furnishings and things that could be saved and reused in future rooms. In this way, we saved on both the environment and the economy.
Designen av rummet byggdes kring de befintliga möblemanget som sparades från just det rummet. Meanwhile, another contractor carried out the renovation of the bathrooms where they changed all the trunks and ventilation systems in the building.
We had to take care of flooring, painting, interior fitting, project management and design. This was a fantastically fun project and we are very pleased. Thank you Princess Hotel for the trust!

Hotel Birger Jarl is a client we have worked with for many years. Our mission has varied from solely managing concepts and interior design, to take responsibility for the entire renovation process - which we call turnkey contracting.
We at PMI take care of taking care of the old furnishings, demolishing, relocating, renovating floors, walls and ceilings, managing logistics for the transport of building materials and developing new furnishings.
When choosing products and materials, we take into account design and sustainability in the form of environmental and maintenance issues. At Hotel Birger Jarl, hundreds of hotel rooms of various sizes and characters have been upgraded since 2011 with a sober Scandinavian design with attitude.

Hotell Villa Sparta, Älvsbyn
Hotel Villa Sparta is a three-star hotel located in the pearl of Norrbotten, Älvsbyn. It has 80 rooms and new owners since 2022. Since the start in 1961, the hotel has had different names but is now called Hotel Villa Sparta, a name that was there from the beginning and is well known to the residents.
At an early stage, PMI received information about the project and was able to begin design work in collaboration with the new owners. The colors are in blue and beige tones with the Norrland forest in focus. We have worked with different textures and taken care of the practical thinking such as washing and cleaning possibilities as well as fire requirements, something that is always in our thoughts.
PMI had to set the design from surface layer to furniture and lighting, be the product supplier, installer and give instructions for the renovation. We also had to make suggestions for changes in corridors such as the color of hotel room doors and walls, floors and lighting. The hotel now has rooms in two different price ranges and we are very happy about our fine collaboration with Hotel Villa Sparta, what a trust you have had in us!

The Motel in Karlskrona
The Motel in Karlskrona is a cozy roadside hotel with 47 hotel rooms. For over 60 years, it has served guests who turned in after the Österleden to park their car just outside their overnight room. In 2023, the hotel has new owners and new winds are blowing in the knots.
Stora investeringar är på gång och hotellet har redan fått ny el, vatten och avlopp indraget. Hela stället ska moderniseras och samtidigt behålla sin väghotell-charm. Checka in och ut ska man göra med mobiltelefonen, likaså boka och betala för din vistelse. Fasadfärgen är också på väg att uppdateras. Mycket är på gång och PMI fick vara med och utforma konceptet och inreda de första tolv motellrummen.
In this project, PMI developed the design concept in rooms and bathrooms (surfaces such as floors, walls, ceilings, etc.), delivered the furniture/products (also kitchen/kitchenette), designed and installed the entire process with the interior. Flooring, painting and installation of bathrooms were done by the motel's own staff.
